My name is Valery Dorokhov. I was born in Riga, Latvia. 1954-1965 School, 1965-1971 Technical School, 1973-1975 Soviet Army. 1976-now: Central aerological observatory, Dolgoprudny, Russia. My first peer-reviewed paper was published in 1990: V. M. Dorokhov, Observations of the total ozone in the Arctic over Heiss Island (81°N) in winter 1989 // Atmospheric and Oceanic Optics. 1990. V. 3, No.01, P. 89-91. At the present time almost of my work is done in the Arctic regions of Russia.
